Collage by Pullman Hotel

I had a sumptuous dinner at Collage with Felix last week.
I can still remember clearly what had happened.
All the details.
It was memorable.
Except for the fact that I was not feeling well
and I did throw up during the dinner time.
What I love the most is the ambience.
The food was okay.
We had black and pink pasta,
even though the taste is not as good as it looks.
The others was some side dish
and the dessert was superb.
We had chocolate fudge and green tea macaroon.
I totally love the peppermint tea.
The best I ever had so far.
Enough about the food,
let's move on to the next topic.
After we finished our dinner,
Felix asked if there are any possibility for us to be a couple.
I did not expect it.
Really.
He is like the friend zoned guy.
He is good, kind, and always there when I needed someone to talk to.
Too bad, I just don't feel the chemistry between us.
But most of all I know I am not ready for a serious relationship.
Being in a commitment ain't easy,
especially for a long distance relationship.
It takes a lot of trust and endless communication.
I still want to be free.
Last but not least,
I am single BUT I am not ready to mingle.

The Vow

"I vow to love you, and no matter what challenges might carry us apart,
we will always find a way back to each others."
"Life is all about moments of impact,
and how they change our lives forever.
But what if one day you could no longer remember any of them?"

Jakarta

I just got back from Jakarta yesterday.
I spent my childhood there, from 1990 to 1998.
And the last time I went there is back on 2001.
The holiday was awesome.
An eight days trip was enough for me.
Not forget to mention there are some memorable moments
during my stay there.
I'd love to go there again some time in the next few years.

A short stop motion video capturing the love of Johan and Arrita.
And yes, they will get married at the end of this year.

Perspective

All of the photos above are edited from one single photo.
Each filter give a different perspective.
The same way goes for people.
Sometimes we are trying to make a certain portrait of ourselves,
of how we would like other to see us.
The bad news is people see things differently.
We have different lenses.
We all get caught up in our own opinion.
Too often we judge people based on our perspective,
without knowing the reason why they do it.
It is a never ending cycle.
It runs in our blood.

One Year Ago

I went to Singapore,
with hope that I would find a job there.
After spending almost 3 months
without any interview,
I decided to go back home.
And here I am,
back to the place where I always belong,
with my family.

I Youuuu

When I said I love you to Cheryl,
she said i you,
with her innocent face,
and sweet voice.
We're getting closer each day.
She loves being around me and so do I.
I love hearing she call my name.

Lemon Cupcakes

I made lemon cupcakes last Monday.
The first attempt was a disaster.
I decided to try again using different recipe.
More margarine in it.
The second attempt was okay.
Me and mom made the decoration using vanilla buttercream.
The taste is quite good.

Super Sunday

Got so bored last Sunday.
So I decided to took some goofy photos with my soft toys.
Then followed by a dinner.
Me, mom, and pop went to Teras Cafe and had a proper meal.
Spending time with the loves one is a blessing.

A Good Life

Everyone has their own definition of happiness.
What makes me happy doesn't always make others happy as well.
And vice versa.

Who's Talking Now

Vyonne can call me tee, instead of auntie.
Sometimes she call me yiyi.
I think she's gonna be a talkative little lady.

Failed Chocolate Macaroon

I made chocolate Macaroon this morning.
The ingredients are quite simple.
Almond flour, powdered sugar, chocolate powder, egg white, castor sugar.
The making process was okay.
When it came to the baking process,
it was a disaster.
The oven temperature was not stable.
The baking paper stick to the macaroon.
The texture is awful, not crispy at all.
Even though it looks good after I put the buttercream filling,
when you eat it, it almost like a chocolate cookies.
I give up on macaroon.
Next time I'll make another cupcake.

Ready to be baked

The baking paper do not want to leave the macaroon

Final result

Close up

Ready to eat

I got burnt on both left and right hand.
Mom said if you want to be a baker,
you have to get use to it.
